The Name is an installation based on a video, which is separated into three surfaces, respectively projected onto three walls. All three parts run on synchronization, but the walls don’t face each other, thus the viewer cannot comprehend the whole image at once. Speakers are placed near each projection so the viewer can hear the coherent sound of biting and chewing. The chewing sound corresponds to the separated profile parts, whereas the biting sound corresponds to the combination of the two. When the chewing parts show, the biting part disappears, and vice versa.
